Family Life Director   Sandi Reiss  479-783-7745

Our Senior Ministry serves the spiritual and temporal needs of our parish community ages 55 and older.  Seniors go through many changes as they grow older.  Retirement and/or loss of a spouse are major life changing events.  Each of us needs to hear God's word, experience companionship and friendship, and be aware of services external to our parish specially designed to support seniors.  All Are Welcome!

The Scoop on Senior Mealtimes

In spite of the fact that older adults many times face nutritional challenges, mealtimes are still important times for them. Often seniors whose spouses have passed away and whose families have moved find themselves home alone. That's when senior care professionals and families need creative solutions to solve elderly aging challenges. For ideas and resources about seniors and healthy mealtimes, visit the Home Instead Senior Care network's Craving Companionship program at MealsAndCompanionship.com.  Included in the Craving Companionship program are family recipes and Caring CardsTMthat can help facilitate mealtime conversations.  Go to Home Instead's website or call 479-434-6960 if you have questions about how Home Instead Senior Care can help you and your family. They invite you to visit their CaregiverStress.com website to find even more family care giving materials.
